When I saw Dr. Lo Presti for my initial consultation, checkup and cleaning I didn't know what to expect. He came highly recommended and I have to say he didn't disappoint. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable in all areas of dentistry and he patiently answered my questions . I didn't feel rushed and he made me feel very comfortable while validating my concerns, especially my TMJ issues. I found Dr. LoPresti to be less aggressive in his approach and more conservative in his treatment. I was told by another dentist that I'd have to have my molar extracted and I'd need an implant, but Dr. LoPresti said that he could save the tooth and restore it....Great news! So, if you're looking for a dentist who has a combination of expertise, gentle dentistry, patience and cares, you've come to the right place.

I was extremely hesitant to book an appointment to the dentist to the point where I was putting it off. By chance, I lucked out finding Dr. Lopresti in the UWS and his awesome staff (in both the Staten Island office and UWS office). Dr. Lopresti was excellent at communicating what needed to be done and even commentating as he was doing the work (he could have been a sports caster in another life), which actually kept me pretty entertained and curious. As I had quite the amount of work to be done, he was very delicate and polite when it came to any potential pain and even then he kept it minimal. You get the feeling that he has been doing this for a while and that he is very receptive to how comfortable his patients feel in the chair, paying attention to the little details to make sure his patients are also comfortable off the chair. After my root canal, I had a crown meticulously molded and placed for a comfortable bite. I had thought it was perfect but then I didn't realize my jaw grinds from side to side putting pressure on the crown. When I came back the next week for some filling work, I told Dr. Lopresti about it and he understood exactly what the issue was, quickly fixing it. A few months after all the work's been done, I can say my teeth and mouth feel excellent. The staff on their own were also excellent and deserving of their own high rating. They were very effective in setting up a roadmap, understanding my insurance policy, and communicating the costs. My insurance had screwed up a bunch of claims leaving me in a confusing place. I called up the Lopresti's office to see if they can clear it up, they got on the phone with my provider and quickly resolved the matter. They'll definitely be seeing me as a regular.

Dr. Anthony LoPresti is hands down the BEST dentist I have ever experienced! I waited to leave a review until after a few visits, and every visit is better than the last. Dr. LoPresti talks through every action he takes, consistently checking in to make sure you're not in pain or have any reservations, and is extremely professional and thorough. He has wonderful mannerisms, making you feel comfortable, easing your fears or concerns, and leaving no doubt that you have his undivided attention. I will return to Dr. LoPresti for every single dental need, including when I leave the area, and I've already recommended him to family and friends. If you are wondering if you should book an appointment- do it! You will be so happy to find a fantastic dentist whom you can trust and truly excels at the profession! I'm happy and honored to be his patient, he is wonderful at what he does!

I am very nervous patient when It comes to dentists . I needed a lot of work done and I held off on it. I came to Dr LoPresti office. I was very comfortable. The staff was amazing. Dr lopresti had patience and made me smile again.
